The 11th annual Recycle Your Reusables was a great success! Here are a few numbers:
510 cars (41% increase over 2018)
54 towns represented (38% increase over 2018)
$969 in cash/checks and 447 pounds of food donated to Loaves and Fishes
Almost 10 tons of material diverted from local landfills, including:
–1060 pounds of batteries
–4.8 tons of electronics
–850 pounds of latex paint
–3 trucks full of household goods
–2.12 tons of scrap metal
–2 tons of textiles
–365 pounds of art/crafts and office supplies
–2 pickup trucks full of skis, golf clubs, hockey sticks and baseball bats
–400 pounds of Styrofoam
–a small mountain of plastic plant pots
And so much more!
